Super Easy Clean Up Method

It's official. After today's play session in the front yard, the neighbours must think we're nuts ... crazy ... mad. Why would they think this?

Actually anyone would probably think this if they'd watched us.

While I was out mowing, the boys wanted to play with the grass clippings. However, I really didn't want to have to rake grass up again after the play finished.

The solution was easier than I thought and it worked so well. This, therefore, is our super easy clean up method.

It was simply a matter of getting out a ground sheet and put the grass clippings on top.

The boys could then dig, carry and play with the grass without it going absolutely everywhere. Needless to say, the boys had a ball. It was messy - and for the boys, that's the best type of play!

When it came time to clean up, it was a simply matter of lifting up the corners and pouring the clippings into the bin ... or compost heap.

This is the first time we've used a ground sheet outside for clean up purposes. However, we've been using a cotton sheet on the floor inside to clean up construction equipment with the greatest of ease for a long time.

Somehow, I think the neighbours are going to be seeing this ground sheet spread in the front yard each time the lawn is mown. I love easy clean-ups!
