The boys really enjoyed it as well and engaged in it for a long time. Who knew drawing doodles could be so much fun and educational at the same time? Continue reading →

I confess, I could recite this book word for word.
We've been building road out of on old cardboard box. Normally, we just flatten the box and open it out as flat as possible. The boys are then armed with pens and set free to create a city on the cardboard by drawing roads and shops, etc., on it. However, this time, we took a different approach. Continue reading →

However, it's possible to do maths at snack time in a fun way so that children won't even know they're doing a maths activity.

The best part is that you can eat your maths activity! Continue reading →

Our goal was to make an ant farm with children. We learnt a lot through doing this activity but the lesson learnt wasn't the one we'd planned on. For us, the learning occurred in the process rather than the end result. Here's our story - one that's unexpected, funny and definitely smelly! Continue reading →

This is a fantastic painting experience that anyone can participate in. It's really fun to do. The beauty of this painting is that there's no pressure for anything to look like something recognisable. The focus is more on the process rather than the end product. Having said that, however, the end product can look absolutely fantastic - fit for any art gallery!

The hens needed our help! There was no time to waste! (In case you're wondering, we don't really have any hens - although it would be great if we did!
